Dog daycare and boarding facilities in Las Vegas push artificial turf harder than any other vertical. 20 dogs on 2,000 sq ft of turf produce more pet waste in a week than a household dog produces in a year. Standard residential cleaning protocols cannot keep up. One bad review about “the smell” from a daycare parent costs months of revenue.
Sparkly Turf works with LV dog daycares and boarding facilities under contract.
What is different about daycare turf

Three constraints unique to this vertical: organic load is 10-50x residential. The play yard cannot be closed during operating hours. Parents notice any smell and the bar for “clean” is higher than residential.
That means cleaning has to happen overnight or pre-opening. The chemistry has to be pet-safe with documented dry-time (under 30 minutes for our TurfMist hydrogen peroxide product). The protocol has to handle a heavier extraction load than residential equipment can deliver.
The cleaning schedule that works
Daily (your staff): Pet waste pickup every 2 hours. End-of-day hose rinse on all turf surfaces.
Monthly (Sparkly Turf): Refresh tier ($299 base, $0.75/sq ft over 400). Vacuum extraction, power-brush, TurfMist hydrogen peroxide sanitizing, infill check. Overnight or pre-opening scheduling.
Quarterly (Sparkly Turf): Restore tier ($399 base / $0.75 per sq ft, quarterly plan rate $359). Full pet waste vacuuming, deeper odor work, infill top-up. Done during a planned half-day closure.
Annual (Sparkly Turf): Deep Clean ($699 / $0.95 per sq ft). Resets the surface for the year.
What it costs for a typical LV dog daycare

For a 2,500 sq ft outdoor play yard: monthly Refresh ~$1,875, quarterly Restore ~$1,875 each (× 4 = $7,500), annual Deep Clean ~$2,375. Total annual turf maintenance budget: roughly $32,000.
Most operators recover this in retained customer lifetime value from 2-3 parents who would have left over a sanitation complaint.
Are your products safe for dogs with chemical sensitivities?
TurfMist (the Las Vegas-made hydrogen peroxide formula we use) is pet-safe. SDS available on request. Dogs are typically back on the play yard within 30 minutes of completion. We have several LV daycare clients running multi-pet operations with no issues.
How do you handle a sanitation event like a parvo scare or diarrhea outbreak?
Emergency response within 24 hours for contract customers. Full restoration of the affected zone with documentation for your incident report.
Can you work around 24/7 boarding operations that never fully close?
Yes. We rotate cleaning across separate play yards so one is always available. Coordinate with your shift supervisor.
Do you offer financing for the initial Deep Clean?
Yes. Sunbit splits a Deep Clean into easy monthly payments. Apply in 30 seconds, no hard credit pull.
How do other LV daycares structure their turf cleaning contract?
Most run monthly Refresh + quarterly Restore + annual Deep Clean. We can share references with current LV daycare contract customers.
